Blackberry 9810 debuts
Research In Motion RIM makers of the blackberry range of smartphones has announced the new BlackBerry Torch 9810 in a new evolution of the original BlackBerry Torch 9800 model.
The company says that the new model is faster and more fluid with high performance and a hardware feature which delivers an enhanced multimedia experience.
The phone features a large 3.2″, high resolution touch display and a distinctive BlackBerry keyboard that easily slides out to allow easy typing.
BlackBerry· 7, the operating system for the new BlackBerry Bold 9810, introduces a next generation BlackBerry· browser with a significantly faster, more fluid web browsing experience which the company says stands with the top in the industry.
The device combines the dramatically improved performance of the advanced Web Kit browser engine together with stronger hardware enhancements.
The device delivers browsing results that are up to 40% faster than BlackBerry· 6 based smartphones and up to 100% faster than BlackBerry· 5 based smartphones.
Additional enhancements to this device have also optimized zooming and panning for smoother web navigation and optimized HTMLS performance for gaming and video experiences.
With 8 GB of memory, expandable up to 32 GB with a microSD card, the company says users can take more pictures, capture more videos and download more apps.
There is also a 1.2GHz processor that gets browsing, socializing and gaming done at faster speeds.
The BlackBerry® 7 browser supports HTML5 video and provides a seamless loading, scrolling and zooming experience.
